British again failed to break their own transfer record, but that's not all - Premier League clubs spent for the first time more than 1 billion pounds for new recruits. After the window officially closed with the 1 September, clubs from England stood at 1,175,230,000 billion pounds.

13 goals elite English club broke their own transfer record, the most significant of which is Manchester United by attracting the most expensive player in the world Paul Pogba. The Frenchman was worth 89.3 million liras of "red" devils.
