Martingale
Martingale is the most used strategy in the world of betting. Initially developed for casino games, it refers to progressive strategies in which the amount of bets increases in losses. With this strategy you can win even if you predict wrong, but it is too risky and can lead to bankruptcy.
It is very simple - the amount of bets is doubled after every loss and returns to the starting amount in profit. Suppose start betting with 100 E If you lose, the next bet should now be 200 E In a new loss, the third bet now becomes 400 E When profits on the third bet, the new bet is returned to 100 E For to get profit through this strategy should be your bets at odds of at least 2.00.
Let's look at an example in which the principle is applied Martingale:
Bet factor profit balance
1 E 2:00 - -1 E
2 E 2.00 - -3 E
4 E2.00 8 E + 1 E
1 E 2:00 - 0 E
2 E 2.00 4 E + 1 lE
The example shows that with a pledge to meet the factor of 2.00 sooner or later at a profit, the sum will be greater than the sum of lost bets.
But it may have two problems. One is financial, you may not reach your funds for next bet because of the high progression.
- E - 2.00 E - 4.00 E - 8.00 E - 16.00 E - 32.00 E - 64.00 E - 128.00 E ...
If you only lose to eighth bet, the next should be 256.00 E / 128.00 E x 2 / and lose 8 times in a row at odds of at least 2.00 is not very difficult.
The second is psychological, with every lost bet, the amount of the next increase double. And yet the chances of guessing the next pledge not to increase, regardless of your previous gains or losses.
